How To Download Free YouTube Videos From Android And PCs.

YouTube is the world highest site where current videos of events, music, incidents, tutorials etc. But YouTube programmed their system so that music can not be downloaded from their site, but due to numerous videos that can't be found anywhere else except from YouTube, people are seriously looking for a way to download its video which now led many programmers to developing a program that has the ability to download a video from the YouTube database using the video link. This programs are programmed either as a web application or an install-able application (desktop app & mobile application).


For Android Mobiles:
Android mobile users should use the steps below to download YouTube videos in there phone

  • Click on the link to download TubeMate YouTube Downloader application,
  • Go to the Settings/App then check "Unknown Source" this is just to allow the installation of application that's not downloaded from Google Play Store,
  • Locate the TubeMate.apk that you downloaded and install it,
  • Open TubeMate after installation and accept the terms and conditions,
  • Search the video you wish to download from the search box on top the app just as you are searching for a video in YouTube,
  • Select the video, 
  • You can play the video directly from TubeMate or
  • Click the green down arrow on top of the window to download the video,
  • After the video has finish parsing, 
  • Select the screen resolution you want the video to be in as well as the format of the video,
  • Open phones Notification Bar to see the progress of the download or,
  • Go to the home of TubeMate and flip to the left to the see all downloads.

For PCs:
There are many desktop applications that can be used to download YouTube videos, but what i'm going to discuss with you doesn't need any software just internet access and your PC
  • Go to YouTube,
  • Search for the video you want to download,
  • Select the video,
  • YouTube is programmed to auto start a video once it's open,
  • So once the video is open click the pause button to pause the video so not to waste your data watching the video,
  • Copy the URL of the video in the URL bar as in the below pic
  • Go to keepvid.com,
  • Paste the video link (URL) you copied from YouTube in the provided space for it and click on the download button,
  • Right click on your desired video format and click on "Save Link As"


  •  The format should be in mp4 then type in the name you want the video to bear, locate the place you want the video to be saved and click the "Save" button.
  • Your video will start downloading.
